Our Story
A Ministry Built on Faith and H.O.P.E.
Ministry of H.O.P.E. began in 2007 under the leadership of Pastor Demetrius G. Beachum. The ministry expanded to Temple, Texas, in 2008 with a vision to reach individuals and families through biblical teaching, authentic worship, prayer, discipleship, and community service.
From the beginning, the church has remained committed to soul-winning, spiritual development, family restoration, youth mentorship, leadership development, and meaningful community impact.
Today, Ministry of H.O.P.E. continues to provide a welcoming place where people from every background can experience the love of God and grow toward their Kingdom purpose.

Ministry of H.O.P.E. is led by Pastor Demetrius G. Beachum and Lady Vickie L.
Beachum, who have shared 30 years of marriage and faithful partnership in life
and ministry. They are supported by committed church leaders who serve with
humility, prayer, compassion, and a shared desire to strengthen God’s people
and advance the work of ministry.

Pastor Demetrius G. Beachum
Founder & Senior Pastor
Pastor Demetrius G. Beachum is a pastor, preacher, educator, musician, author, and community leader committed to strengthening families, developing leaders, and empowering people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A native of Mexia, Texas, Pastor Beachum began preaching in June 2000. He founded Ministry of H.O.P.E. Church of God in Christ in Marlin, Texas, in 2007 and Judah Worship Center Church of God in Christ in Temple, Texas, in 2008.
Pastor Beachum earned an associate degree in Commercial Music Performance from McLennan Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas College. He served for more than 20 years as a band director, using music and education to develop discipline, confidence, and leadership in young people. He is the founder of N.E.W. Nations, a nonprofit dedicated to education, entrepreneurship, recreation, character development, and youth leadership, and a published author who encourages believers to trust God, remain committed to prayer, and live by faith.
Pastor Beachum believes the church should be a place where people experience H.O.P.E.: Healing, Overcoming, Perfecting, and Empowerment through faith. His leadership reflects a sincere commitment to spiritual growth, community service, and developing people for Kingdom purpose.

First Lady & Prayer Warrior
Lady Vickie L. Beachum is a woman of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and extraordinary spiritual power. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and powerful prayer warrior, she has faithfully served as a source of wisdom, encouragement, and strength to her family and the Ministry of H.O.P.E. church family.
For 30 years, Lady Beachum has stood alongside Pastor Demetrius G. Beachum as his trusted partner in life and ministry. She is his rock, offering steadfast love, godly counsel, and faithful intercession through every season. Her strength is reflected in the power of her prayers, the consistency of her presence, and the lives she touches through her compassion and faith.
Lady Beachum carries a genuine heart for God and His people. She serves with grace, prays with authority, and encourages others to remain faithful through every season. Her life reflects godly womanhood, faithful partnership, and a sincere commitment to prayer, family, and Kingdom purpose.
